Aaron Garlick Biography

Born and raised in Taos, NM (1988) Aaron grew up surrounded by art and creativity. His mother is an accomplished artist, as was is grandmother. Aaron’s art education, for the most part has been informal, however, he was a live in apprentice to Sherrie McGraw and David Leffel who were both long time teachers at the Art Students League in New York. He has won a number of awards for his portraiture, he continues to focus on capturing the personality of the people and land he loves to draw and paint.
